The Life INSPIREE Project
Europe’s first industrial-scale plant for Rare Earth recovery.
Funded by CINEA under the LIFE programme, the INSPIREE consortium—coordinated by Itelyum and including EIT RawMaterials, Erion, Glob Eco, and the University of L’Aquila—will implement a two-stage process to dismantle permanent magnets and recover REE oxalates via hydrometallurgy.
