Milan, 30 October 2025 — Itelyum, a leading group in waste and resource recovery and management, strengthens its presence in the North-East with the acquisition, through its business unit Itelyum Ambiente, of 70% of New Ceccato Recycling Srl, a company active in the recovery of non-hazardous waste based in Castelfranco Veneto (TV).
Lodigiana Maceri Srl joins Itelyum, having acquired 30% of New Ceccato Recycling. The partnership between the two companies was established with the aim of developing industrial and commercial synergies in the paper, cardboard and packaging recovery sector, in line with a shared vision focused on sustainability and the circular economy.
With this acquisition, Itelyum is strengthening a new Business Unit dedicated to material recovery, reinforcing the recycling chain and expanding its capacity to produce secondary raw materials. New Ceccato Recycling is a leader in Veneto in the recovery of paper and cardboard, sectors in which Itelyum has recently entered thanks to LaCart, with the aim of building an integrated circular economy model.
New Ceccato Recycling was created from the spin-off of the operating activities of Ceccato Recycling Srl, a long-established family business in Veneto that has been active since 1980 in the recovery and recycling of non-hazardous special waste.
With a plant of approximately 12,000 square metres, 25 employees and a fleet of 15 vehicles, New Ceccato Recycling specialises in the management and recovery of paper, plastic, wood, glass and metals from industrial and commercial customers in Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The materials processed are then sent for recovery at plants in Italy, Europe and the Far East, as waste or as secondary raw materials (end of waste), making a concrete contribution to the circular economy and the reduction of CO₂ emissions.
“This operation represents an important step in Itelyum’s growth strategy in material recovery, strengthening our presence in Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia and completing the range of services for our industrial customers, who will therefore be able to count on Itelyum for the management of all their waste and environmental services. The collaboration with Lodigiana Maceri allows us to combine complementary skills and make a concrete contribution to the development of an increasingly circular economy.”
