The Thinner Division produces recovered thinners through a careful and sustainable process of solvent waste selection and treatment, obtaining purified and highly versatile mixtures for various uses and compositions.

Itelyum is a leader in the purification and production of regenerated solvents, with a strong presence at both the European and global levels. Our regenerated thinners ensure high-quality standards and formulation stability, thanks to advanced technologies and proven professional expertise. Processes are optimized to guarantee flexibility, reliability, and maximum safety through rigorous controls on raw materials and finished products, carried out in our Quality Control Laboratory.

The versatility of the plant and the expertise of our research team allow the development of both standard and customized formulations, specifically designed to meet customers’ needs, including blends made from pure solvents.

Our high production capacity ensures operational efficiency, process continuity, and supply reliability. The Landriano production facility is complemented by the Rho site, equipped with six automatic packaging lines.

PRODUCTS

• THINNER SUPER 3: Blend of purified products, low color content <1%, water <1.5%, methanol <3%.
• THINNER E + T: Blend of purified products containing up to 40% regenerated toluene.
• LACQUER THINNER 110: Blend of purified products, methanol <10%.
• LACQUER THINNER 120: Blend of purified products, methanol <20%.
• METHANOL BASE: Blend of purified products with up to 60% methanol mixed with acetone, ethanol, and acetates.
• ACRYLIC THINNER: Toluene, acetone, ethyl acetate, and butyl glycol (from pure solvents).
• SPECIAL BLEND: For special applications; mix of toluene, acetone, butyl acetate, paraffins, etc.

• Paints and Coatings Industry: Dilution of paints, enamels, and other solvent-based products to regulate viscosity, improve application, and optimize drying. High dissolving and fluidifying capacity for many compounds. Also excellent for cleaning brushes, spray guns, and general equipment.
• Automotive and Bodywork Sector: Preparation and application of automotive paints and primers. Degreasing of surfaces prior to painting.
• Wood and Furniture Industry: Dilution of varnishes and stains for furniture, floors, and wooden structures.
• Construction and Industrial Maintenance: Preparation and cleaning of metal surfaces, removal of waxes and resins. Cleaning of paint and adhesive residues.
• Chemical and Resin Production: Used as an intermediate solvent or component in the formulation of glues and adhesives.
